The AirMax features the same industry-leading ¼-inch thick cast iron cover and scratch-resistant porcelain enamel found in the Model A series, as well as polished or brushed stainless steel. The motor is permanently lubricated and resiliently mounted. With a dynamically balanced blower wheel for vibration-free running, noise level is 14dB lower than the closest competitor. Exposed parts are plated or constructed of corrosion-proof material. Pushbutton models have durable, mechanical, cam-style timers and automatic units have environmentally sealed solid-state infrared sensors.
